Self Enumeration Portal Online Registration 2023, Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, commonly referred to as PBS, has recently made a significant advancement by launching a self-enumeration portal for the seventh national Population and Housing Census.
This innovative platform allows individuals and families residing in any part of the country to add their personal and household data with utmost ease and convenience, using just a few clicks on their computers or mobile devices.

It is crucial to bear in mind that the deadline for self-enumeration for the 2023 Census in Pakistan is March 3, 2023. Planning and Development Minister Asad Umar has emphasized that almost 98% of the data collection process for the upcoming census will be conducted online, highlighting the government’s commitment to using modern technology to streamline the process. Moreover, cutting-edge technologies like geofencing and GIS mapping are being leveraged by the authorities to monitor the process and ensure its seamless execution.

Pakistan, with a population of over 220 million people, is the fifth most populous country globally. Therefore, accurate and up-to-date census data is of utmost importance for planning and policy-making purposes. However, conducting a census in Pakistan has always been a challenging task due to its extensive and diverse population.
Previously, the census was done manually, which was time-consuming and prone to errors. Nevertheless, the introduction of the self-enumeration portal in Pakistan has revolutionized the process, making it much simpler, more efficient, and accessible to all.

Online registration for the seventh self-enumeration of Census 2023 has now started. This can be done through the website www.self.pbs.gov.pk. The Digital Census Self-enumeration portal will be available for download from 20 February 2023 to 10 March 2023.
To create an account, just click the “Register” or “Sign Up” button if you are registering for the first time. And then fill out the registration form carefully. Self Census is a new concept that allows every Pakistani citizen to participate in the 7th Digital Census by visiting www.self.pbs.gov.pk.

Self-enumeration is a concept that uses the same household-based registration method used in the Census. Each member of the household or family who lives there and shares meals can register, as well as the other members of your household or family. This is a very efficient method for any household member to register and include all family members.
